It’s almost here!! Brian Lederer is excited for the premiere event for 12lb and 30lb combat robots on the West Coast: the May Metal Massacre hosted by SCAR (Southern California Attack Robotics)!
Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday May 25th and Sunday May 26th), Southern California Attack Robotics (SCAR) will host its one-year anniversary competition: the May Metal Massacre! Saturday will feature face-offers between Fairyweights and Antweights in the 12 lb division. Sunday will see battles between Plastic Antweights and Beetleweights in the 30 lb division. Pits open at 8 AM, with events and tournaments scheduled throughout the entire day until an award ceremony to wrap things up at 5 PM. Brian Lederer is excited to see what this thrilling combat robotics event will bring! There will even be a free builders dinner hosted by SCAR; with tasty eats from local Pomona Street Tacos. This is a can’t-miss event for builders in the amateur to semi-pro competitive robotics competition scene of California. Lederer will be cheering teams on from his location in Wisconsin this year. But he looks forward to working towards developing a competitive build for next year’s May Metal Massacre 2025!
