The Norwalk Havoc Robot League (NHRL) is an action-packed robot combat league that welcomes amateur robotics enthusiasts of all skill and ability levels. Brian Lederer highlights this awesome startup:
NHRL, the Norwalk Havoc Robot League, aspires to be the largest robot combat league in the whole entire world. And if you ask Amateur Robotics Enthusiast and IT Professional Brian Lederer: NHRL is already well on its way to claiming that very title! Initially founded in 2018 as a tech startup, NHRL takes eSports to the next level. So much so, that they’ve broken out of the chains of eSports to create their own unique category: iSports, a realm where competitive sports meets model building and, of course, robotics! This project is self-funded by Austin McChord, who initially started the league as a passion project. But it has since evolved into so much more! Personally, Lederer is excited to attend his first-ever NHRL competition: the 2023 March Event that will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Brian Lederer’s competing robot is currently in development. As the anticipation of participating in his first-ever NHRL competition heats up, Lederer can’t contain his excitement! This will be the Amateur Robotics Enthusiast’s rookie try at battling a robot head-to-head in combat. He looks forward to participating in a full 3 minute match in the 3 pound weight class.
