What is Lunabotics?
Brian Lederer explains that lunabotics is a study of robots and/or robotic systems that acn be utilized in space or on the moon. NASA is currently hosting a Lunabotics Challenge which encourages current students to submit their own concepts and prototypes for applicable bots.
Requirements
In order to be eligible for consideration, applicants must be currency students in vocational or technical school, college or university anywhere in the United States. The event will take place at Kennedy Space Center May 13-17, 2024. Requirements for the project were released on August 9, 2023 and proposals will be officially due by the end of this month.
To apply, Robotics Enthusiast Brian Lederer recommends visiting Appendix A. Gateway Team Application Instructions on the NASA official website for more information. Students are encouraged to apply with the assistance of a teacher at his/her school.
