MassRobotics, the premier global independent robotics hub, has launched its inaugural MassRobotics Accelerator. Amateur Robotics Enthusiast and Information Technology (IT) Professional Brian Lederer shares the details:
The MassRobotics Accelerator is a zero-equity robotics program. Entrepreneurs, startups and ventures who are accepted into this year’s program will receive $100,000 in non-dilutive funding. It is the intention of Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) that this contribution will greatly assist rising innovators in robotics as they develop the next cutting-edge technology in the space. The accelerator is accompanied by a 13-week program where robotics creators will have access to a wealth of resources maintained by MassRobotics. This includes, but is certainly not limited to, the initiative’s state-of-the-art prototyping labs. True to its non-profit mission, MassRobotics Accelerator is a zero-equity program; Amateur Robotics Enthusiast and IT Professional Brian Lederer explains this component as the winning strategy. Without programs that foster true innovation without boundaries and restrictions, there would be very little uphill movement in the robotics space. Lederer looks forward to the world-class facilities, mentorship, guidance and incredible growth opportunities that this program will foster.
